Supervisor - Automotive Service

 

Simpson Motors Limited is seeking to recruit an energetic, well organized inspirational leader with A Passion to Serve!

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary objectives of this role are to provide inspirational leadership and hands-on support to a team of hard working individuals whose primary goal is to exceed our customer’s expectations.

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for exceptional customer experience and retention through the effective supervision of the front end operations of the Automotive Service department.   This individual will also provide a supporting role to the Service Manager in running an efficient department.

A strong focus will be required in ensuring consistent and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, on-going coaching and mentorship of team members to continually drive service excellence.  He/she will be required to assist with organizing the day to day activities of the department, while responding to the needs of our customers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
  • A passion for customer service
  • Inspirational leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
  • Resourceful with strong time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Previous experience in a hospitality industry would be an asset
  • An undergraduate degree in a related field would be an asset
