Service Manager - Automotive Division

 

Simpson Motors Limited is seeking to recruit a Service Manager to oversee the service and workshop operations of its automotive division.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary objectives of this role include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, through the efficient management of service operations, maintaining efficiency and quality standards, while controlling costs and maintaining good employee relationships through consistent engagement with the team.

The successful candidate will be required to manage business complexity, communicate effectively, manage demanding situations, coach and lead a dynamic team, drive quality and efficiency and deliver exceptional customer experience.

This role will provide a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to manage a service operation in a fast–paced, ever evolving automotive dealership environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Extensive professional experience in leadership roles
  • Excellent managerial and financial skills
  • Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader
  • Thorough understanding of management, financial practices and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrable experience managing large teams and projects
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • High level of enthusiasm and ethical standards
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a roll-up-sleeves attitude
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Management or a related field would be an asset
