Financial Planning & Credit Risk Analyst


Interamericana Trading Corporation, a subsidiary of the Inchcape Group is seeking to recruit a Financial Planning & Credit Risk Analyst for its Finance Department.  This key role reports to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and liaises with senior stakeholders across the region and the Inchcape Group to collate and analyse data necessary for forecasting including cashflow areas such as working capital.


  • Prepares the region’s rolling financial forecasts.
  • Provides insight and analysis of results, identifying any trends.
  • Undertakes financial analysis for the region in terms of financial performance, including scenario and KPI analysis.
  • Supports the strategic planning work and long-term forecasting.
  • Assists with modelling of investment and expansionary opportunities.
  • Analyses credit risk, highlighting areas of concern based on analysis of outstanding dealer debts and find creative ways to reduce overall credit risk and exposure across the ITC dealer network.
  • Develops stress and scenario testing and analysis of the portfolio to determine impact on company cash-flows.



  • BSc or BA degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience performing financial analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, progress toward a professional accounting designation would be an asset
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Reporting skills in Accounting and Finance
  • Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organisation
  • High level of enthusiasm, professionalism and ethical standards
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, sense of empathy, and passion for your work are essential in this role


Successful candidates must have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a methodical work ethic. Must be detail oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.  Must be organized, proactive, accurate and detail-oriented with good follow through skills.
