IT WAS love at first sight on Valentine’s Day for scores of Barbadians who turned up at Simpson Motors to get a first look at the new Suzuki Ciaz, unveiled at the Warrens, St. Michael dealership on Saturday.
Sales manager, Nicholas Davis, explained that the new vehicle combines a roomy comfortable cabin with great performance and excellent fuel efficiency: “These are some of the key qualities sedan buyers are seeking and the Ciaz captures this and much more.”
“We are extremely excited about this car and it definitely won the hearts of all those who came out to test drive on Saturday. We kept hearing comments about the sleek look, the spaciousness, its numerous features and, of course, the affordability,” Davis explained.

A triumphant end to the 2014 Formula 1 season for Mercedes-Benz as MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS driver Lewis Hamilton wins the concluding race of the campaign at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi to take the Formula 1 world championship title for the second time in his career. His team-mate Nico Rosberg ends the season as runner-up. Between them, Hamilton and Rosberg accumulated 16 wins, 18 pole positions, 12 fastest laps and 31 podium finishes. With eleven one-two wins in a single season, the team surpassed the previous record set by McLaren in 1988. The 16th victory of the season in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix means that MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS no longer share the record with any other team for the highest number of wins in one season.
Rhett Watson is the runaway leader of the Suzuki ROC Barbados Challenge – Suzuki Rocks! – after yesterday’s (Sunday) first two Driver Challenges at Bushy Park Circuit. With a score of 63 points, he has a 21-point advantage over Roger Mayers and Josh Read, who ended the day tied in second place.

Interested persons turned up at the Warrens, St. Michael dealership to get a close look at and test drive the new vehicle, which sales manager, Nicholas Davis described as yet another cost and fuel efficient vehicle in the Suzuki line.
He explained that there has always been a demand in Barbados for attractive, spacious vehicles at affordable prices. “The Ertiga is an ideal solution.
