Simpson Motors Reveals New Suzuki Ertiga

September 17th, 2014

DSC_0091Simpson Motors was alive with fun, family activity on Saturday, as Barbadians turned up to view the newest addition to the Suzuki family, the Ertiga.

Interested persons turned up at the Warrens, St. Michael dealership to get a close look at and test drive the new vehicle, which sales manager, Nicholas Davis described as yet another cost and fuel efficient vehicle in the Suzuki line.

He explained that there has always been a demand in Barbados for attractive, spacious vehicles at affordable prices. “The Ertiga is an ideal solution.  It offers the maneuverability of a compact car, the style and comfort of a sedan and the space of an SUV, all with ergonomically designed flexi-seating for seven occupants – the perfect family vehicle!”

According to Davis, drivers will also appreciate safety features such as SRS dual front airbags; side impact door beams; and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) function.

“Plus, through the use of advanced engine technologies, the Ertiga’s fuel efficiency is exceptional without encroaching on the vehicle’s performance levels.”

IMG_0305Davis confirmed that the initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.  “Persons who test-drove the car complimented the generous interior space as well as the remarkable performance on the road.   They were, however, most amazed that a vehicle with such space, performance and features had a price point of just under $60,000!”

One of the many persons who attended the launch, Ivan Hutson, explained that he has been a Simpson Motors customer since 1984: “I have had almost every brand sold here for both personal and business use, so when I saw the company was launching a new Suzuki I had to come to test it out.

“I like what I have seen. The Ertiga is definitely a family vehicle. It’s comfortable with lots of space, especially with the extra row of seats, which would be a plus for any family. I test drove the vehicle and it gives a very smooth and quiet ride,” Hutson revealed.
